Dear friends,
I regret to inform you that the worms have at long last devoured my mental faculties; and so I have decided to travel around the world before the shroud of lunacy falls completely.

To those of you who are teetering on the brink of throwing caution (and our collective feces) to the wind and joining me, I promise you the following. At first a deceptively seductive life-changing experience, quickly followed by financial collapse and eventual personal ruination, not to mention the very real prospect of being cannibalized by yours truly. Now, I am sure that you will make the right decision and abandon your productive existence to join me in this misadventure. However, if the illegitimate child of reason and good judgment prevails, you can follow my blunders through the magic of the interweb at https://redblackfast.wordpress.com.

I don’t have the financial resources to retain my cell phone; having already hawked one of my kidneys to finance this foolhardy endeavor.

If you know someone who is willing to show me around in any of the places I am visiting, please put me in touch with them – I would appreciate it very much. I am trying to steer clear of the usual tourist traps and seek a more “local” experience. Naturally, I pledge that they will regret it very much and forever hold a grudge against you, for having introduced me to them.

Lastly, thank you to all who offered support and encouragement even if motivated by the selfish motive of finally being rid of me. To others who had altruistic intentions and counseled me to abandon this reckless enterprise – I wish you would rot in hell.
